Today I went on an adventure! Where by "adventure" I mean "I went downtown to check out an art exhibit because I need to review one for a class."

Another brain-bleeding-out-my-ears day at work, so I was extra happy that today was a [Riese] day! :D

I have to say, I am annoyed with the writing and/or characters on nearly every other TV show that I watch lately. But the only thing that annoys me about Riese is how short the episodes are and having to wait two weeks between - which I am willing ( Read more... )

You can watch the [first chapter] at YouTube. It's short (~9 mins., and the last minute or so is credits) and not a lot happens, but it's a great set-up for things to come and it's pretty and it's got great camera work and there is a wolf (and a kick-ass girl)! :D ( Read more... )

There's a web series called [Riese] premiering on Monday (2 November), for which I am very excited. It's a steampunk-inspired story about a girl and a wolf on a quest to save the world. I am pretty much sold on anything with a wolf (see also, White Fang, due South, The Journey of Natty Gann, etc.), but the premise and characters sound really cool ( Read more... )
